This is a super Value 100 Pack of Queen City Animals Beef Flavored Tapeworm Wormer Capsules for Dogs 18 pounds and over each contain 41 mg of USP 30 Praziquantel. The gelatin capsule is Beef flavored which makes dosing your pet a snap. These capsules can safely be used on dogs 6 weeks of age and older. For dogs 14 - 18 pounds, give 1 41 mg capsule. For dogs 19 - 36 pounds, give 2 41 mg capsules. Give 1 additional capsule for every 18 pounds of pet rounding up to the next whole capsule. For example, if your dog weighs 82 pounds, divide 82 by 18 and you get 4.55. 4.55 would get rounded up to 5 so that is the dose for your 82 pound dog is 5 of the praziquantel 41 mg capsules. Praziquantel paralyzes the tapeworms forcing them to release themselves from the digestive tract, thus allowing your pet to digest them with just one treatment. Repeat only if your pet becomes reinfested. Your veterinarian should be consulted for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment, and control of parasitism.
